Henning Mankell certainly got this right. Whatever would mortals do without coffee? A day without this beverage can wear us out. Haunting different coffee shops and experimenting with various brands has become the norm these days. Starting a coffee shop is a lucrative business if done right, and catchy and clever names are a must to attract the youngsters and oldies alike.

The entertainment factor is always a crowd puller. Try using some humorous elements like rhymes or puns. Some of these names could get rather cute for a neutral liking, so go easy on the same.

The name should be simple enough, yet not overly generic such that clients are turned off. Never, I mean never have a cuteness overload. You are naming a coffee shop, not a doll house. You have to choose the right distributors for supplying the basic ingredients. This is very important when you are serving authentic beverages or treats of a different cuisine. Your name can be based on the location, but check your competition first. The name shouldn't affect the branding.
While a 'catchy' name will help 'catch' clients (as the word literally implies), you have to diversify your offering. Your cafe is not going to function well solely on the selection of a good name. You need to have great products, good maintenance, good marketing, and good luck too, if I might add!
