Pros Nice length. Relatively inexpensive. Groove prevents telescopic arm from twisting. Can attached other devices with standard screw mount adapters.

Cons No standout features. Same arm design and materials that caused minor injury with a similar selfie stick we tested. Bottom Line The Mpow iSnap Pro Bluetooth is a good, standard, relatively inexpensive selfie stick without any bells or whistles.

There's not much differentiate selfie sticks from one to the next, so even subtle details help. The $29.99 Mpow iSnap Pro features a grooved design that prevent its telescopic arm from twisting. It's a solid stick, with little else to set it apart from the competition.

Extending up to 38.5 inches from the base of the handle to the tip of the adjustable, telescopic aluminum arm, the iSnap Pro is one of the longer selfie sticks I've tested. In its shortest form, it measures 12.5 by 4.25 inches (LW), which is about average. A groove along the arm prevents the telescopic sections from twisting under the weight of your phone, which is a nice touch. But be warned that the iSnap Pro's telescopic arm is very similar to the design of the Noot Selfie Stick, which caused a minor injury in my testing. The stick itself is silver, and the rubber handle is available in black, blue, or pink.

The hinge is similar, if not identical to, the hinge found on the Noot. It swivels 180 degrees up and down, and tightens into position with a thumb screw on the side. Attached to the hinge via a standard screw mount is a cradle for your smartphone that's also nearly identical to the Noot. It's big enough to fit large phones like the Apple iPhone 6 Plus. It'll keep your phone in the vertical position with normal, gentle movements, but even light pressure or quick motion can move it out of place.

Mpow inlineUnlike the Ufcit Monopod and its Bluetooth remote, the iSnap Pro has Bluetooth built into the handle. There's a power switch, a micro USB port for charging with an included cable, and a Bluetooth status LED on the bottom of the handle. Pairing the iSnap Pro with various smartphones was quick and painless, and I could take selfies as quickly as I could press the handle's shutter button.

Unfortunately, I couldn't get the iSnap Pro to work with a Nokia Lumia Icon running Windows Phone 8.1, and it looks like Windows Phone devices are not compatible in general.

The iSnap Pro is a good selfie stick for its $30 price tag, and it's a good deal if you can find it for less online. If not, check out our Editors' Choice, the Newisland Selfie Stick. It uses a wired connection instead of Bluetooth, has a more stable design, and includes a rearview mirror for taking high-resolution selfies using your phone's rear-facing camera.
